Now purple is not a colour i like so why do I love these cards so much. Thanks to Dawn for the SU stamps used on these cards xxx

Earthquake

After going to bed rather late (5 mins to one) I was rudely awakened (5 mins later) by an earthquake measuring 5.2 on the richter scale ............. Never been so scared in me life :O

Luckily the house wasnt damaged but there were a few older houses which lost their roof tiles and chimneys. So pleased we live in a new house with no chimney.

Above are some cards I made on Saturday after I had been to fab technique class called 'caught in Crystal' at my LSS Paper Paradise. I promise they look better in real life but seeing that the toppers were so shiney it was hard not to get a glare when taking a pic .

seeing spots

I love the colour red and especially love anything with spots (not the squeezy sort though) :)

I had seen many gorgeous banners about which people have made and seen them for sale but didnt have the cash to buy one already cut out. and ready to decorate. So I had a go at making one with left over cardboard from the back of note pads. I hand cut the scallops, painted the cardboard and and added painted cardboard circles. Tied it all together with checked ribbon then hung glittered alphabet letters on the bottom of each flag spelling my name.

I hung it over the window in my craft room. When the window is oen it gently sways in the wind and when the sun is shining makes the glitter all sparkly.

I love Easter time . Love the pastel colours that spring to your mind, the chocolate eggs and warmer days. So here is a card I made to clebrate Easter.

cricut challenge

I am getting to grips with my cricut, although I am limited by what cartidges I have, which is a shame. I just love the essentials cart especially this frame which I used on this card.

Vikings

Had a great day out at York Yesterday. There was a viking parade which led to a great atmosphere. The only downside is that we didn't take a camera with us.
