Pins and needles

That is the theme we are asking you to follow over at Papertake Weekly. There is a fab prize to be won from The Ribbon Girl

For my card I made some knitting needles from Cocktail sticks popped some beads on the end and voila a small pair of knitting needles. I cast on 6 stitches onto my cocktail needles and knitted a few rows of garter stitch.
The gorgeous paper is by October Afternoon and ribbon from The Ribbon Girl.

I need a sentiment for this card, any ideas ?

Jane what a great idea I love that you have actually knitted on the cocktail sticks must have been a nightmare the only thing coming into my head for a sentiment is "I'm in stitches " but that may be a bit naff sorry love the card though

I love this! Fabulous layout and stitching but of course it's your cocktail stick knitting needles and actual knitting that are the stand out feature. Fabulous! It could be a belated birthday card "I'm a knitwit" for forgetting your birthday or a card for someone going through a bad time "knit happens". Hugs, Lesley
