Alter it .....

Ooops I'm a little late posting this, what with old age, bank holidays and the odd tipple of lager I lost track of time. Any way without further ado I shall tell you about this weeks challenge over at Cupcake

The lovely Denise wants us to alter it..... Pink Gem Designs are kindly offering one lucky winner, chosen at random, four Digital Images of their choice from the crammed full of scrummy Digi's Pink Gem Store!
Here is mine, I made a cute little box  from this

to this

I havent completely finished it as I have to add a name to the tag but just in case the person reads my blog I have left it off for now....

All flowers, leaves and bobbly bits  are from the Ribbon Girl  (thanks Mary and Andrea)

Bookmark for adults only...

The challenge over at Tiddlyinks this week is to make a Back to School Bookmark .  Unfortunately the one I made  would be a danger hazard with its spikey antennaes so its for adults only.
used a rubber stamp  designed by Christy called Flutterby Huggabug   which can be bought from http://www.stampingbella.com/index.php?cPath=209&osCsid=c1e0723178cffda41f21b50e8e7bb08a

I used Kraft cardstock by papermania, the image is coloured with copics and added a little bow with Button Twine which can be bought from the Ribbon Girl.

Gift Card

This week at Cupcake  we would like you to  make a card and gift in one. The fabulous prize is 7 Digital Images  by Bugaboo stamps.  I used a shaped card from Which craft and made a little pocket inside to hold a gift card. I added little magnets for the closure.

Sorry for the few words but have not long back from spending the weekend with Mary and Andrea  the one and only Ribbon Girls. I am tired but a happy lady :)

Party games and prizes

As you know The Ribbon Girl is celebrating it's birthday during the whole of August and it would be a very dull party without a few party games - and party games need prizes!
This game will run until the evening of Saturday 13th August (UK time) and the winner will recieve 6 packets of small polka dot buttons in the colours of their choice. So what do you have to do? It's simple - just tell  The Ribbon Girls how many buttons you think there are in the jar.

Leave a comment with your guess HERE at the Ribbon Girls Blog   and the winner will be the first person on the list who guesses correctly or the first person who is closest to the correct number of buttons when the game closes on Saturday night.
