My favourite digi ........

This digi stamp called Daisy huggabug by Cristy Croll has to be my favourite at the moment. I love how it colours, well I just love it.

I coloured her in with copics, added glitter and mounted her onto October Afternoon patterned paper. Again I machine stitched the edges and added 4 little adhesive pearls in the corners.

Copics I used are :
Face, legs and arms and wings - E000 E02 RV21
Dress - Y13 Y 18  Y19 YG 00 YG23
Flower - RV23 RV25 RV 29

Its been a long time

Yep its been a long time since I have made anything. You know what its like when you have no confidence in your abilities ? everyone else seems to make beautiful cards and yours looks like a pile of poo ?
So I sat at my desk yesterday and made myself make something and here it is. It is a hanglar image coloured with copics all layered onto October afternoon patterned paper and corregated card. As usual I have machine stitched then to top it off added a few dots of glitter around the image.

Ahoy there

Its been some time since I have used my distress inks as for a while I have been using a lot of digi images. I put a stop to that for a mo and inked up some new Magnolia stamps I bought on a little trip out of Town.  I used two images one is the little pirate  girl the other the barrel, anchor and skull. I was also lucky enough to buy the Magnolia patterned paper in which I think goes really well with the images.

For the scroll which I added a number of rub ons  for the message I used printer paper I washed it with a number of distress inks crinkled it up and ripped it. I also made the little flag and rolled it around a wooden skewer.  I added a little sparkle to the skull and crossbone on the flag and pirates hat. I am going to enter this into the Magnolia challenge which is asking for us to use at least two Magnolia stamps on a project.
TFL....... I apologise for the poor light on the picture...

Krafty...

So the weather continues to be rubbish. I dont know about anyone else but I never want to go out when its raining......rather stay in and colour and make things. I made this card after reading some challenges. One was to use Kraft cardstock to other was to use sewing on a card (luckily I sew on almost every card I make).

The image is a digi one by Heather Ellis, coloured with copics. The paper is by cosmo cricket button and string by Papertrey. All this was mounted onto a Kraft card.

Bug in a pot

When the weather is bad what does a girl do , thats right make cards. I made this card following the sketch on Saturday Sketch Challenge Blog .  The image is a 2008 Hanglar stamp called Bug in a Pot.  I  used copics to colour the image. I had cut the image out with a nestability then when finished coloured round the edge of the image as usual, big mistake, it looked so naff (wrong colour) I had to cut it out and mount it onto a plain circle cut with a nestability. The patterned paper is by October Afternoon and the corregated card was a kind gift from someone I work with. I added a bow from string by Papertrey and a little glamour dust.

Fairy wishes

First of all I would like to thank the lovely  Andrea  for making  me my lovely header xxx

Oh to be a fairy ..... I love this digi image by Cristy Croll. She is coloured with copics and has little dots of glitter to give her that bit of magic touch. I lifted her up a bit by mounting her onto 3d pads before placing the image onto Kraft and cream cardstock  by SU. The patterned paper is by Jilli Bean Soup. The stamped sentiment is by ladybug craft ink.

A couple of cards

A couple of cards I made this weekend both using difi images. The mermaid image is from CC Designs and is called Mermaidemma the other image I have no idea, I cannot find the image on my computer, it will be there but where is another matter.

Anyway for the mermaid card I used Doodlebug patterned paer. The image is coloured with copics. Again there is machine stitching with the addition of dewdrops, pearls and gems and starfish (supposed to mirror what could be found at the bottom of the sea).

The bunny image was also couloured with copics. It has a dusting of glitter around the image. Paper is by October afternoon.
