Born on a Wintery Day...

Well a week has gone by and what a week it has been. Not only did I have a week off  work I celebrated my 50th Birthday. I had a thoroughly lovely week which on a couple of days spent with my hubby, two boys and their partners.

 This weeks challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenge which has a theme of a wintry Birthday card - it must be a wintery looking card with a wintery image on it.

We are being sponsored by; My Mum's Craft Shop
Prize; £10 Gift Voucher. I know there are some fab creations from the DT so pop over and have a gander.

I used a stamp from the Christmas range by Lili of the Valley, coloured with copics. I would never of thought of using this image other than for a Christmas card until I was given this challenge. Hopefully you agree that it works for a wintry Birthday Card.

Something new .....

Well its been such a long time since I have posted a new card. To put a stop to that here is one I made in the New Year :

I made it for this weeks challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenges which has a theme of something new. I not only followed the theme by making a card for a new baby but I also used a new digi image by Tiddly Inks.

As always Cupcake Craft Challenges have some fab sponsors this year. This week they are kindly being sponsored by  Sew Sweet who has a prize of a £10 gift voucher and Squiggle Stamps who are offering a prize of 3 digital images.

I coloured the image with copics , machine stitched around the Daisy D paper, which I have had on my paper pile for absolutely yonks . The  19mm pale blue stripe twill is from the Ribbon Girl I ruffled it up and machine stitched and hand sew seed pearls onto it.
