Boy or Girl ?

A colleague of mine asked me to make a baby card for her daughters imminent birth. Trouble is she has no idea what sex the baby is but she wanted a card ready to give her soon after the birth, so instead of making a neutral card ideal for a boy or a girl  I decided to make two cards one in blue and one in pink.

I used two digi images from By Lori Designs, coloured with copics and mounted the image onto patterned paper. I added a a small bow made from Seam Binding , which can be bought from the Ribbon Girl.

Attitude

The challenge this week over at the Just Magnolia and Hanglar blog is an anything goes challenge with the option of adding buttons.

I made this card with this challenge in mind.

I coloured the image with copics. The attitude chipboard word is something I have had in my stash for years its by Lil Davis. The buttons (which I popped some gems on top) and ribbon are form the Ribbon Girl.

Two little bunny girls.

I love stitching on cards and it is very rare that I don't machine stitch on cards. So because of this I am entering these cards into the

Crafty creations challenge   which is asking for stitching on your projects.
The digi images are by Heather Ellis, both are coloured by copics. The seam binding is from the lush Ribbon Girl shop x

Boy card

Although my cards are what I consider to be plain and I dont  use flowers on my cards very often I am nearly always stuck when making boy cards. However this image called Puddle Jumper Kyle  from By Lori Designs  collection of digi images made the job a lot easier.  Its easy to colour and  hope you agree looks very cute.

Three little chicks

The beauty of digi images is that you can use as much of the image as you like. This is what I did with the Chickies digi image by Mo Manning . I love the image but I had this idea which uses just the chicks.
