Strawberries and Cream giveaway

Now that we're well into 'Summer' (even though it feels more like Autumn here in the UK) we thought it was time to have a Summer giveaway - and what better than strawberries and cream! All you have to do is be a follower of the Ribbon Girls Blog, leave a comment and mention this giveaway on your blog. We were inspired by the beautiful red fruit bias binding with the red lace edge, the scrumptious prize worth around £15 includes the following and we will mail it anywhere in the world (the strawberries aren't included, just there to make your mouth water lol)

One metre each of 16mm red saddlestitch, 25mm red gingham, red fruit lace edge bias binding, 15mm large check red gingham, red microdot satin ribbon, 19mm red twill stripe ribbon, 32mm cream fine cluny floral lace, a half metre piece of ivory pearl rose organza trim, a metre of cream zig zag lace, a metre of 25mm cream satin, two large butterfly, two strawberry and two cherry charms.

Eyes down for a game of Bingo

Over at Papertake Weekly we are having a good old game of bingo and the prize is better than winning the Regional !! as we are being sponsored by the Ribbon Girl.

I chose the following from the selection

Ribbon, Free (Die cut Heart shape) and Bloom (resin bloom)

to make this

I changed the colour of the paper by giving it a wash over by copics. I love Heather Ellis images. I cut this little cutie out and suspended the swing by using button twine.
Ribbon, Twine and resin flower all from the Ribbon Girl.
I hope you join in with us :)

So without further ado here is my card for this weeks challenge..

Its an Anything Goes challenge with an optional extra of making a fathers day card or card for a boy.

I used a LOTV image coloured with copics. The patterned paper are by October Afternoon (holiday Style) which are a Christmassy paper but thought the papers I used could be used for any occasion.

Ribbon and Lace

Its a new card challenge over at The Ribbon Girl.  All you have to do this month is to make a card and add ribbn and lace as an optional. And if you do that yoy could be in with a chance of winning a fab prize.

As it is the Jubilee weekend in addition to the prize of a £10 voucher for the Ribbon Girl online store and a stamp of the winner's choice so generously donated by Lili of the Valley, the Ribbon Girls have decided to give the winner a Red Mini Ribbon Kit - so that is a bumper prize package for some lucky card maker!
