True colours

As it's the Queens Jubilee soon Papertake Weekly want you to use our national colours
Red, White and Blue. The Ribbon Girl are sponsoring this weeks challenge.

For my take on the challenge I made a Union Jack heart using  Union Jack Buttons available from the Ribbon Girl sprinkled with seed beads inbetween. I framed the heart into a box frame.

I am going to hang this in my new craft room once its been finished decorating.

Recycled flowers

Its another Tuesday and time for a new challenge over at Papertake Weekly. The theme is in the Garden, a floral or gardening theme, sponsored by
 Bugaboo Stamps.
For the tag above I ripped apart a card that my good friend Andrea  , from the Ribbon Girl, made me and have  re used the hand made flowers and lace. Waste on want not is my motto (no not really I usually throw everything, all scraps the lot) so used them on my floral tag :)  The paper is by October afternoon and word by papertrey ink.

One for the boys...

I find making boy/men cards difficult but managed to make this card for a friends father...love the humourous image and the smutty insuendo in which the way the  patterened paper ended up saying :)

Background  paper is  by October Afternoon. The Button twine is from The  Ribbon Girl.
I am entering this into Cute Card Thursday challenge.
