We have come to an end of showcasing Junes releases from By Lori Designs. This week it is Beach Boy Cole's turn to be in the limelight.

I chose to make a memory jar something that easily can be copied so that people can remember their family holidays forever :)

cooking up a storm - cupcake challenge

Blimey is summer finally here? Lets hope so as I definately can do with a spot of sunshine, even if I do spend most of my time at work ! Anyway if you can wipe the sweat from your brow  have a go at this weeks challenge at Cupcake........

 

Over at cupcake this week we are cooking up a storm :)  The challenge is simple make a project that has anything cooking related included such as  Cakes, Chefs etc

We are being sponsored by; Baby Bud Designs  with a prize of  2 digi images of the  winners choice.

  My contributon is a card I made using  a mixture of Molly Bloom stamps (cook, washing line and wall), magnolia (flowers) and Whimsey (ticket stamp). I coloured them all with copics

Lucky

A quick post to show you a card I made for a friend whose daughter was expecting. I think there had been a few problems along the way hence the little one being nicknamed Lucky :)

The seam binding and lace are from the Ribbon Girl .

The Ribbon Girl challenge # 9

I wanted to send a thank you card to someone who cheered my week up, through her kind generosity. 
I am going to enter this card into three challenges:

The paper is the girls paperie , the die cut is the heart which is a spellbinder, The image is a little innocent. The seam binding is from the wonderful Ribbon Girl shop.

Happy Bugg

A card I made for a collegue who is shortly turning 30. Whilst we want to acknowledge her age I am sure she wont so I made a card (think its called a wiper card) where the number 30 is hidden until you pull the corners. I used a Tiddly Ink digi image called Happy Bugg which can be found Here.  I coloured the bugg with copics and added a little sparkle.

I am going to enter this into this weeks challenge over at Simon Says. They are having a game of bingo and I chose  Brad, sentiment and flower (the flower is only little and was part of the sentiment so hope that is ok) oh and on the paper  :)

As Father's day is fast approaching this weeks challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge is projects for men, Dad's . boys etc....

Here is my card I made for the challenge:

I used a shaped card from Which Craft. As you can see I mounted the astronaut onto a strip of acetate to make him look as though he is floating in space. I couloured the digi images (soory I cannot remember who they ar eby, I seem to have lost them on my computer)in with copics and added glossy accents to his visor to make it look like glass.

Edited to add....I have been informed by one of my teamies the the images are Lilyboo designs over on www.cuddlybuddly.com.

Going Goth ....

This weeks challenge over at Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog  is Going Goth! Create a fun "dark" card.  Now anyone who knows me will know that this was a challenge and a half for me...... so hopefully you will like my card I made using autumnbugg, the coloured cheshire cat and the heart from Love Hurts.

This weeks challenge at Stamp something is to use a digi image. Here I used an image from Tiddly inks. I coloured it with copics and used a sketch I found on my blog travels but as usual cannot remember where I found it  !!  Stamp something are also looking for new DT members so if anyone is interested pop over and have a look.
