2 sketches 4 you # 31
Due to the lack of time I haven't completed one of Laura or Kazan's sketches for what seems like an eternity. So no excuses this week, what with 2 weeks annual leave the rubbish weather here in the uk what better way to relax than to sit in the craft room making cards.
For this card I used cosmo cricket paper (my fave at the mo) SU cardstock, lots of lovely red buttons, machine stitching, crackle glaze, flowers I found at the bottom of one of my flower jars and crackle glaze. I roughed up the edges with my distresser...
Copics Colour Challenge 24
The colours we were asked to use this week were: BG02, RV02, YG03. As soon as I saw those colours I was pleased as I was just finishing off a card using 2 othose colours. Unfortunatley I did not have BG02, one that needs to be on my list to buy I think.
The image I used was Lilo & Milo adaptly called Rainy day ( its pouring down where I live today!). I coloured the image with my trusty copics and used: B00 B02 B05 YG00 YG03 YG23 Yoo Yo6 Yo8 Eoo E21 RV02. I paper pieced the umbrella with Cosmo Cricket papers, also used for matting the stamped image, added glitter to the rain drops and glossy accents to the puddle to add a bit of a glossy sheen. I used SU punch for the bottom of the patterned paper and also added buttons and beads threaded on wire. The flowers are by Prima.
With love
